Ecstatic. Elated. Euphoric. The three E's of my sheer and utter Excitement about seeing Fantastic Mr. Fox and Where the Wild Things Are. Wes Anderson and Spike Jonze. Need I say more? Both adapted from children's books, set into magical movie motion by two of my favorite film makers. How refreshing it is to finally have an alternative to the conglomerate children's books adaption series such as Harry Potter and the Twilight trilogy.
On October 1st there is an advanced screening of Where the Wild Things Are. Specifics yet to be announced but in attendance will be Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers, AND ME!
