Beware the Ides of March
The Ides of March marks the anniversary of Julius Caesar's assassination by Brutus and Cassius. This coin, just put on display at the British Museum, commemorates the event. As the story goes, a seer warned Caesar, "beware the ides of March," which Caesar regrettably ignored, as would most dictators in perpetuity. Have you ever been warned about some impending doom in your future? Like if you keep eating girl scout cookies, your ass will get bigger?

What do you eat for breakfast?
German artist Oliver Schwarzwald's new hunger-educing series of photographs of breakfasts from around the globe has my stomach growling this morning. Can you guess the countries?

I love to ride my bicycle, I love to ride my bike!!!!
I just ordered myself a new bike. It's a similar model to the bike I rode in college. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can put it together and go cruising.

fall asleep counting gummi bears
Did anyone else bite the heads of two different color gummi bears and then reattach the body of one color with the head of the other Frankenstein style? I know I did. Fabulous fun! This gummi chandelier would have me jumping on my bed, head back and teeth gnashing. 50 lbs of gummis!!!!!
